Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a NASCAR driver and the son of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt. Earnhardt Jr. drives the #8 Budweiser Chevrolet Monte Carlo on the race track. He won consecutive NASCAR Bush Series Championships in 1998 and 1999. His rookie season for the Winston Cup was in 2000. In 2001 he raced in the Daytona 500, which was the same race that took his father's life in a fatal crash. Earnhartd Jr. crashed in 2004 and suffered from severe burns, but he has been able to return to his racing career.
